Publisher's summary

Three months on a private island.
Two men.
One million dollars.
All I have to do is tame Nash Wilde.

It’s been two years since my sister and her boyfriend were killed in a plane crash. The last person I expected to show up on my doorstep was his father, Alistair Wilde. Yet, he came with an offer I’d be an idiot to pass up: be his son’s girlfriend for three months, live with the two of them in a remote house, and the one million dollars is mine.

The challenge turns out to be harder than I expected. Nash is not just wild, he’s dangerous. And Alistair is far more broken than he lets the world believe. The three of us are bound by grief. It’s up to me to feed Nash’s hunger and heal Alistair’s pain.

Lines are crossed. Rules are broken. On the island, there’s no one to tell us this is wrong.

I know I have to choose before I tear this family apart. But I belong to both of them. One of them has my body. The other has my heart.

Fair warning: This is an angsty love triangle romance with explicit sexual content and a guaranteed HEA for listeners 18+.

Read it. Don’t listen.

The narration is, across the board, terrible.

The performances are often so exaggerated that they are almost comical which is completely wrong for a story about three damaged people.

I loved hating this story

Sad, scary sick and disturbing.

Triggering scenes? Yeah they triggered my PTSD. I’m not joking. I did have to stop listening for a couple of days several times.
I yelled at my phone which was playing the audio book at the insane decisions made. “You stupid B***”. The mature character, yeah not so mature and also selfish.

I got it this was about broken people coping very badly! The twists and turns and pure taboo of it was interesting. I wondered how there could ever be an HEA.

I was sort of angry with the ending and crushed for one of the characters but liked it enough to read the next book. I wrote a review for that too.

Yessssss, Sara Cate!!! 🙌🏾❤️

CONTAINS SPOILERS 😉
Another excellent job at writing a story that I could not put down! The plot had me hooked from the very beginning when the tragedy occurred that brought these three individuals together. I was surprised by the main female character’s behavior after the passing of her twin sister but my jaw hit the floor when she ended up immediately hooking up with the son after two years of no contact 😮 That steamy scene was so raw and real! So this book had me on my toes the entire time. Then the incredible chemistry between the father and her while taking flight lessons 🥵 What more can I say, this is a must read if you enjoy taboo relationships with intriguing plots. I can’t wait to listen to another Sara Cate masterpiece!

Loved it

Alistair is desperate wanting to help fix his Son Nash.
Nash is still grieving from losing his brother, Preston, in a helicopter crash a couple years earlier.
Zara lost her twin sister in the same crash as Preston.
Zara was still trying to survive in the world without her twin. She became a stripper as she needed the money. One night she sees Nash in the corner of the club. She always had a crush on him when her sister was dating his brother. When he approached her she could tell he was drunk. Before he got kicked out she took him home to allow him to sober up. When they got back to her apartment he was pressured her into having sex with him and he wasn’t gentle. Afterwards he walked out like nothing happened A few weeks later she was at work and was told that she was requested for a private dance. When she walked into the room, she saw that it was a Alistair. She was taken a back when she saw it was him. He had always intimidated her. He made a preposition for her to come live on his Island for the next three months and help tame Nash. He would pay her $1 million if she was successful.
This book is a roller coaster. The emotions that Nash, Alistair, and Zara were dealing with after losing a members of their family. They truly needed each other in order to overcome the grief that they were feeling. Once again, Sara did it. She wrote an amazing book.

Could not have picked better narrators for these characters, they were phenomenal! The entire performance was perfect and so spicy! I can’t say a single bad thing about this book it is perfect from start to finish. Sara can’t write a bad book it’s just not possible. My age gap loving heart is so happy and I love how messy it gets!! Ahhh the drama is chefs kiss.

Captivating story and great performances by narrators!

I love how Sara Cate’s books often take a turn to “taboo” but she has a way of making all the scenes and storylines so believable and somehow relatable. While reading other stories I find myself complaining that the characters continue to whine or get in their own way for far too much of the book. It almost becomes annoying—but not with Sara’s books! She always writes her books with just the right amount of struggle before the resolution. I love her Salacious Player’s Club series and I was afraid no other books of hers would live up to those for me, but I’m glad to say I was wrong!

This story left me speechless.

When Zara loses her twin sister and her twin’s boyfriend in a helicopter crash, her life spins out of control in grief and self-destructive behavior. The dead boyfriend also leaves behind a grieving father, Alastair and brother Nash. Both men are also struggling with their grief, and continue to be destructive in their own ways and too each other. Zara makes an arrangement to move out to a secluded private island with both men as they fall into a complicated romance. This story had me thinking and listening well into the night. You’ll want to shake all of three of them as the stumble, and fight, but ultimately heal. Very well-written, the story has a veneer of desperation and reality as three complicated, damaged people learn to love and live again.

Finding love through grief

A heartbreaking tale of grief and finding your way back through love. Zara’s twin sister, and Nash’s brother were killed in a helicopter accident, and it shattered both their worlds. Two years later, Nash shows up at strip club Zara dances at, and he’s clearly not doing well - drunk and angry. After a brief encounter, he disappears, only for his father, Alastair, to show up a few days later at the club, asking Zara for her help. One million dollars for three months on their private island to bring Nate back from the brink of self destruction. The thing is, Alastair is broken too, he just doesn’t realize how much so until she shows up on the island.

An interesting love triangle, to be sure. The history and emotion between the three of them is intense, and their shared grief makes it even more difficult for them to maneuver. As they become closer, Zara becomes more and more conflicted with emotions developing for both enigmatic men, and she knows she’ll have to choose where her heart truly lies. When a bombshell from before the crash that killed their loved ones is revealed, it sends their worlds spinning, but it ultimately leads to realization of what they really want. The HEA is touching, and in the end, everyone knows things are exactly as they should be. It’s a heartbreaking, and yet ultimately uplifting story of pushing through grief and letting yourself love and be loved.

The three narrators do an excellent job of pulling all the emotion out the words, and really let you feel every moment as they maneuver their way through a very difficult situation.
