Rina's debut novel in the MM genre is a fantastic read that will leave you wanting more. To fully appreciate Bran and Nikolai's journey, I recommend reading the previous Legacy of Gods books.
Bran is a complex character who struggles with his inner demons, stemming from past experiences. Despite his challenges, he prioritizes others' wellbeing above his own, often at the cost of his own mental health. A selfless act to protect his brother, Landon, leads him into the hands of Nikolai.
Nikolai, on the other hand, is the headstrong and ruthless heir to a mafia empire with his sights set on Bran.
The chemistry between Bran and Nikolai is captivating, and their relationship will leave readers rooting for them. I, for one, am eagerly anticipating Ava and Eli's story.

Roman Empire!

What can I say other than, (IMHO) this is the best book that Rina has written 💛🙌and the brilliant way Shane and Teddy narrated this emotional story🥹…it’s everything and beyond! My Roman Empire! 💛

Performance

The story amazing, but the performance from the narrators was perfection. I could listen to this everyday.

Fantastic all around!

There’s too many things I want to say about this book but I’ll keep this short. I’ve read every book that Rina Kent has released and this is by far the best one I’ve ever read/listened to. This is the first MM book I’ve come across and it’s going to be hard to top this one. Nico and Bran’s chemistry was out of this world and I loved every second of it. A beautiful masterpiece Rina Kent. Well done

Rina Kent always hits different

I loved Niko and Brans relationship throughout but one thing is was a lot heavier for me to read and the spice wasn’t as complex as other books in this series

I have loved every book in the Rina Kent Universe, but I think this was my favorite. I lived the characters so much and the narration was perfection.

The build up and anticipation for this book was intense!! And it did not disappoint. I’m totally blown away. Who knew Rina was the queen of writing MM romance?? I’m praying that there many more mm books in her future. She did such an amazing job bring Bran & Nikolai’s emotions and love story to the forefront of this book. They were so intense but so focused on each other. This book just moved to the top of my favorite books for 2023!! Teddy Hamilton & Shane East slayed with their amazing narration. Go listen to this audiobook right now!!
