Slow burn to Scorching hot!

Kyle and Rai are something else!
Book 1 of the duet is a slow burn until about 3/4 of the way into the book where it starts scorching!
Ya'll...his dirty talk is on point! Wowzer!!!! 🥵

I love how tough Rai is, she's had to be growing up in the family she has. And Kyle is the mysterious bad boy with the hot accent who disappeared from her life years ago. Based on history she doesn't trust him, and for good reason.

Throughout the entire book I found myself just waiting for Kyle to pull something. I was on the edge of my seat.

The cliffhanger to find out about the ending….yikes.

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are great narrators and really nail this narration. Shane East is one of my all time favorite narrators, love his accent!

Hot and intriguing

Although I haven’t read all the books in the correct order, I had no issues, whatsoever in figuring things out or revisiting some events that overlap… Rina’s books are always a hit for me! I loved the narration and the plot, I really love the FMC in this one (I always did,even from previous installments). This is a hot and intriguing story and I am eager to continue with the series!

The story. The couple. The narrators. Killed it!!! I don’t have one bad thing g to say about throne of Power. I literally listened all day because I couldn’t stop. Everything about this audiobook had me hooked!

Loved!

I've been wanting a Kyle book for SO LONG! I didn't REALIZE who the FMC was until chapter 6... and then I immediately unalived 🤣 this. Was. Epic!!!

It's about to go down!

The adult spin off of All the Lies and Truth with a Russian mafia twist, this story was a slow burn. Great featuring of the strong and resourceful Rai tangoing within her arranged marriage to husband Kyle. I liked Rai’s strength and ingenuity and Kyle’s total alpha, but I was waiting for the chemistry to knit between the two, in the tango push and pull. What held my attention, though, were the secrets and motivations just at the cusp of revelation.

Performance was excellent. Both voice actors were amazing in their range from characters to accents. The actress’ Russian accent was so authentic and she delivered well on reciting the male voices. While I do prefer duet narration, this dual performance was great compromise.

A decided slow pace that I expect will pick up and delve into secrets and more revelations in part two.

My New Obssesion is Throne if Power

When I heard about this series I got so excited!! so pumped. Kyle and Rai delivered on there promise to knock my socks off !!! omg was there story good it was sexy , steamy, gritty, hot ,unpredictable, and so deliciously addicting. and that cliff hanger OMG I cannot wait to see what is next ! if your wondering if you should pick this book the answer is yes !!! pronto !!!

I am in looove.

I’m utterly obsessed and addicted to Kyle and Rai’s story. Shane East and Vanessa Edwin perform this story to perfection. Not only is Rina Kent’s story so enthralling you’re sucked in immediately, but these two narrators give them so much life, you can’t help but need to listen more. Through all of your daily chores and all of your adulting. Such a great listen, now on to the next one!

great narration, ok love story

This story does hold your attention, Rai whines to much, irritating. I wish background info had been provided as to how, what happened that caused and who abducted Mr. E son in the first place.

Deception and Lust

Kyle went away for 7 years leaving Rai heartbroken. He suddenly shows back up and claims he's the son of one of the Elite in the Bratva. His appearance was perfectly planned when Rai had just agreed to marry the eldest son of this Bratva's man. She was devastated to find out it was him, but he is there to destroy the Russians and another clan, but he doesn't expect to feel the way he does about Rai the way he does.
Rai is a very powerful woman in the Bratva where men are the one's who rule over everything. So her agreeing to marriage to save her younger cousin from having to be the one to marry is a big deal. She runs the large corporation that the brotherhood has and brings in more money than the other company's. She believes she deserves to be treated as one of the brotherhood.
I love this story so far and can't wait to listen to the next part of the Duet.
