Great story telling.

My new favorite author!

Fiona writes the lesbian romance novel for which I’ve been looking. It is not too violent, extra, and the picture of queerness from a black women’s perspective. Mari’s voice is sexy, creating a world in which I couldn’t wait to immerse myself. I’m hoping she writes more great novels and has a long successful career. I feel acknowledged and celebrated. Can’t wait to listen to the her other books.

Did not disappoint!

I have been a fan of Fiona Zedde for many years since I read Bliss (2x in a row) back in 2010. Every book I have ever read by Fiona Zedde has been awesome. This book did not disappoint! Mari did an amazing job as narrator. I give it two snaps and a twist!

Rollercoaster of Emotions

Loved the way this story drew me in from the very beginning. Very sexy read. The writer's unfolding of this story was done in a traditional way, but it wasn't predictable. I enjoyed the way I could identify my own real life experiences about stereotypes and expectations within the different character dynamics. The narrator did a great job of keeping thw reader engaged with a sultry, pleasing voice. I'll be sure to get more books from this writer.

Just enough

The plot wasn’t bad, I like the setup of characters I could stood for this to be a trilogy of sorts featuring all the different characters and their stories. The narrator did a good job. I just could stand for it to be longer I got through this is a day pretty much.

I loved it…sucked me in right away…great narrator the characters and the intimacy of their connection was hot!

I love that that the character were out a s it wasn't another case of closet black lesbians that cheat on their husband's or first timer lesbian or one of them was str8 Nd the one stud convert them ughhhhhh. Now Naema could have had a little more spine but over all it was a good listen. the narrator really did her thang with the voices.
