Another fantastic story from Milena McKay. This time instead of an ice queen we were gifted with the kindest and gentlest of souls that so clearly internalized everything they’ve ever experienced.

Abby Craden is once again spectacular at bringing the characters to life she is one of my favorites.

Abby Craden and Milena McKay are an award winning duo and this book is no exception. Abby brings to life all the characters and the idiosyncrasies. Even the minor characters are not forgotten.

Least fave so far

The story was good if you just want something that follows a modern fairytale theme but I would have to say it’s my least favorite by this author so far.
I found it hard to become engaged in for the first several chapters. And then rather had to follow at times, where it felt like big milestones passed quickly and you were missing something that led up to that. It was good, just not my fave. As far as narration goes, although I do feel like Abby Craden as a narrator has been feeling burnt into the ground, by how she narrates sooooo many stories; I will say this was some of my favorite work by here so far! She really did a great job of painting an image of so many personalities/backgro

After Whisper Of Solace I don't even read summaries anymore i just add it to my cart and enjoy the ride on the emotional rollercoaster Ms. McKay will take me on

McKay delivers again!!!

This is a wonderful Cinderella trope that gives you the perspective of both Cinderella (Vi) and her Princess (Chiara) and the magnetic attraction that alters the course of their lives.
You’ll feel each of their emotional longing to be loved by someone. And experience how they give it to one another with unintentional, steamy sensuality.

I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy rich character immersion!
Abby Craden’s character voices take it to another dimension.

She can't keep getting away with this!

Milena McKay has done it again! Vi and Chiara have my whole heart. I did NOT see the mid-book time and perspective jump coming, and it totally changed the entire story in the most beautiful way. So many emotions!!! Can't recommend highly enough, plus I was so excited to have some cross over with These Delicate Things We Make.

Stellar!

I loved the connection between Chiara and Vi. I found myself frustrated as the story did not go the way I wanted to. Then realized the way it unfolded was so so much better. Abby Craden is mesmerizing as usual. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and highly recommend it!

Not surprised that I love another Milena Mckay book!

In the world of fashion in Paris, Chiara and Vi find themselves in the middle of a Cindirella-esque fairytale. I will just say it's a very well crafted romance with great MCs and other secondary, even tertiary characters. Also, I love that it's in two parts - part I with Vi's POV, part II with Chiara's POV. Different layers to the story...very clever. And let's not forget what Abby Craden brings to the table with her voice 👏👏👏

This is a beautiful story about passion, loyalty, betrayal, forgiveness, sacrifice, and love. An amazing read!🥰
