Insightful

Heard about this book on The Mikhaila Peterson Podcast. I gained some very useful information from this book. It really helps you see things from your partner’s point of view. I actually found this book much more helpful than the book that the author recommends at the end, No More Mr Nice Guy. It seems to be written for a very specific type of man that I cannot relate to.

A little short, but good info

I just wish he went into a little more detail, maybe made the book 3-4 times as long.

It was so appropriate for my needs and the needs of my marriage.

Adam Lane Smith nailed the situation in my marriage and gave many examples of both the problems that have developed over 40 years in our marriage and he explained how to overcome and remedy the complicated and extremely frustrating situations that have occurred throughout the years.

Concise simple and direct

Very direct and non-confrontational. No blaming or victimization. Direct accountability and direction. Very good.

Good lessons

This book was good. Great tips and lessons to use. The reader was a little cheesy sounding at times switching from female to male but overall I liked it.

Short, sense, challenged... Go!

Narrator was creative, and the book eye opening, encouraging and challenging. I will be Sharing with a lot of people that I relate with the detached individual.

I enjoyed the examples of multiple scenarios. The reader was not my favorite but the story’s were great.
