5th listen and still my favorite series!
I wish there were a dozen more books in this series already out. It’s the perfect Dungeon Delver fantasy with my favorite progression system to date. Loot, Levels, Abilities and parties all done perfectly. The supporting characters are wonderful too and there’s the perfect amount of slice-of-life for my tastes. Bun-Bun is hilarious and just gets better. I could go on but I’d get into spoiler territory. Don’t miss out on this series it’s a one of kind escape

25 is old?
my only issue with this book is that Ken (19) says that Crimson (25) is old?!?! are you freaking kidding me?! any 19 year old male would have zero hesitation on bedding 30 year old MILF but this MC thinks 25 is old. that is the biggest cop-out just to push the relationship down the road I've ever seen.

Excellent
I was amazed on just how much Ken learns and experiences throughout the book and was very enticing to read the whole in sitting wish books came out faster on audible can never get enough

A real Gem
I typically reserve my reviews for stories with exceptional narratives and compelling main characters. This series captivated me to the point where I eagerly sought out the fifth book. I highly recommend giving this book a chance. It offers a refreshing take with a protagonist who is neither foolish nor overly whiny, but someone who genuinely strives to improve, mirroring the efforts we all make in our daily lives.
