Great Story but awful narration.

I would have given 5 stars but the audible narrators, both the male and female, were awful.

Lots of thrilling action that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Even though this book has its yawning moments, it is filled with excitement, betrayal, sexy Russians and Frenchmen, it's thrilling, suspenseful and funny. I love the relationship between the Lion and the Mouse and all the other characters in the Bratva.....and there are lots of characters to love. Max, Emily's brother loves smoking joints and whoring. King David, Kaz's #1 who has to get oral sex before entering a gun fight. He was trustworthy until he met an old flame who made him act like an idiot and who almost gets him killed. Kazimir's sister Valentina is violently protective of her brother. So many colorful characters that make the book spicey.

Dirty Cravings is long, and I wish I felt some satisfaction at the end of the book, but I really didn't. There were so many storylines still open that I have to believe there will be a Book 7. Please! Let's hope the narrators are better in Book 7. Please!!!!! If you bring back Ellis Evans and let him do the entire book maybe you won't lose stars because of the bad narration.

Almost as good as the book!

I purchased the Kindle version of the book as soon as it came out. But I enjoyed it so much I couldn't wait to get the audible version. However when I heard the sample, I realized Shari Peele was not voicing Emily, which sort of turned me off. Then after listening to the Lion and mouse series from the beginning again, I realized I needed this to complete my library.
I LOVE the story and the series!!!! It's wonderfully written with vivid imagery. My only wish was that you had Ellis (the original Kaz) voice this one AND Shari (the original Emily) voice this one.
They're voices, inflection, and pronunciation of the language was more natural and therefore more believable.
Otherwise great work!!!

Cliffhanger?

I'm so into the book and everything going on with David, Blue, Giorgio and Emily that I get through the book in two days. Then the last chapter leaves me with so many questions I think I have skipped something. Please tell me there is another book coming.

The new narrators are an improvement

I'm starting to find Lacy Laurel narrating more books that's more suitable for her. Lacy's sassy and youthful catwoman-like voice is perfect for reading Emily's chapters. I'll miss Ellis Evans reading for Kasimir, but I'm fine with Tristan Josiah. This series is getting better by each book. I'm hoping for the Nigerian mafia to be their greatest challenge in the next book.

Great story & narration

I enjoyed the story and loved the twist. I was worried about King David for a little. I’m happy with the outcome.

Why why keep changing the narrators (Not happy) 😔

I have become a huge fan of Kenya Wright books Did not appreciated the new voice of Kazimir (Tristan) the previous narrator sounded more convincing and Russian felt I was hearing a librarian/ Historian narrator instead of The Lion.
The new voice of Emily (Lacy Laurel) she speaks kind with the nose 👃 many times I literally had to rewind the Audio to understand the words,
Sheri’s voice owned it as Emily!
Regarding the Story amazing!

Addicted

This series along with The Butcher and Violinist needs to be made into a mini series!

Meh

The series is awesome. I hope there will be another book because there still seems to be more that Emily and Kaz will do. I do not like the female narrator. Her “hood” accent was too much. I also hated the way she spoke for Maxwell. Ugh!! The New York accent the male narrator used for Max was perfect. All in all I still loved the series. The story line from Book 1 through Book 6 was perfect. The history that is told and the details about the countries and cultures made these books worthy of an award! I look forward to other books by Kenya Wright.
