Refreshing new vampire series

Loving how different this story is and how the vampires are explained. The only thing I would change is to make it duel narrators the female narrator was great at Camille but her Xander voice was lacking which I can't really fault her for I mean she's a woman. But nevertheless I would have loved this in duel narration but still give it 5/5 stars - spice was also fantastic 4/5.

I stumbled onto a Jem!

I was surprised, at how good this book was and officially hooked me like a Yellow Fin Tuna. I can’t wait to read the other two books and the release of the fourth.

Kenya did again!

I love the story how it was woven together so perfectly only thing I would change is the Zander’s voice. Something much deeper and sexier but overall it will keep you at the edge!!

Very Hot!!!

The story is extremely creative and the female narrator is wonderful, but the male voice leaves you wanting. Troy Durant would have been the best to represent Zander's voice.

A complex & compassionate story

I am just delving into IR fantasy. What a great book to try for this new-to-me genre! Complex storytelling mixed with compassionate yet flawed characters make for an interesting interwoven plot. Camille, Ian & Xander are beautifully written. Their emotions jump off the page & their passion is palpable. The smooth transition to book 2 is definitely appreciated. I love this series & it has opened my eyes to a new IR genre. Thank you Kenya for laying the foundation for a new love of witches, vampires, mages & the like. Looking to try something new within the IR framework? Try this book!

Definitely a great read

Definitely enjoyed this book. A lot of twist and turns. Narration was great and engaging. Will be reading all the books in this series

Great Story

Kenya is a great story teller. The sex scenes are very hot but not really necessary. Her stories can be enjoyed without too many sex scenes.

One Narrator

I loved the story, however I would have liked to hear more of the male point of view. He only spoke once. I would have liked to hear both equally.

Love the narration and storyline. KENYA has a fan For Life 💓💞. This is my second series of her writing, and I have loved every book 

Good story

I liked the world and inhabitants created by the author. The story was creative and well written. Lots of drama and intrigue. The narrators did a good job. I only wish that the male narrator had contributed more when the focus was from the male perspective. I will definitely be moving to the next book in the series.
