About this listen

Michael wakes up to find himself completely alone in a dark forest, the corpse of a deer his only company. The dread in his heart tells him that something horrible has happened, but he can’t recall what.

He doesn’t remember where he is, who he is, or even what he is.

And to make the situation worse, he keeps hearing voices in his head, like whispers of long-lost memories haunting him. Now, he must face a bizarre hellish world all alone as he attempts to recover from his amnesia.

Can he navigate the mysteries surrounding his existence? Can he unravel the memories leading up to his awakening?

And once he does begin to remember, can he overcome the dire fate awaiting him?

Prologue

Michael, I’ve missed you so much.

I was suddenly staring at a blinding light, the bloodthirsty demons surrounding me having vanished - Ragnarok, and the trapped Miriam, both along with them - with brilliant green eyes being the only indication that there was a person within the luminescence.

Prior to this moment, I vaguely recalled being shown an illusion by my enemy, only to finally break through the hallucination. I was prepared to fight back, despite being only partially transformed, but then everyone around me froze solid.

Even a brown leaf falling from a tree stopped in midair, as if time itself had stopped, only for everything around me to disappear.

Everything, except these glowing emerald eyes.

Improvement

Much better than the 1st one Still has some issues But at least it explains what's going on
I prefer his other books though There is so much repeating in this one
It's not the narrator messing up it's part of the story Imagine Groundhog Day Good in the movie But not in a book Especially when the 1st one doesn't explain what the hell's going on 1st book You're introduced to these characters all you really know By the end It is I'm only turned you into a demon Of course there was other things but that's pretty much the gist of the 1st book it's like a fucking introduction

Just as if not better then the 1st.

Honestly enjoyed this book as much as the 1st and can’t believe just how I couldn’t stop listening to this one through to the end. Can’t wait for the 3rd one even if I have to wait for the physical copy to come out first I will buy it and wait patiently.

time travel hurts my small brain

so I get an some what understand that it's was trying to explain the "Many-Worlds Theory" in a story but man that went way over my head but what comes down to it for me was the story was good and the narrators were amazing I felt the grief so good book but I am just probably not smart enough to full understand the mc plight.

Bad then became Awful----DNF

So check it. Im not even gonna mention the stupid amounts of cringe in this book with the "I cant live without you!" "What did you do to my beloved".

So this guy can control the time and space? How did we go from Heat to Radiation to Electric magnetic energy to Control Space time itself? Like what??? Come on. and this chick somehow learned how to operate a computer(last book) and somehow researched all of this and became some genius on it in the span of what less than 48 hours? all from googling and and reading articles.

And this dude has morales about killing people when hes told people usually always dies when they feed but in the first book he was ready to risk killing the few hundred people on a plane trying to get rid of a NUCLEAR BOMB controlled by TERRORIST, Die, Get himself killed, his familly killed, friends killed, be arrested for possible murder, and bomb threat which is 10YEARS MINIMUM all for some chick. But he suddenly has morales now about drinking blood and possibly killing someone? but everything else is fine. especially if she does it....?

And lets get technical about this even though its fiction fantasy the author put real scientific theories and terms in this book. Everyone from the first period class in book 1 should be sick and or dying from being exposed to so much nuclear radiation for 50 minutes non stop. These "demons" shouldnt be alive either Radition kills Living Cells. these people having living cells if they still have a heart beat. they are alive. and theres not a living thing that can survive long term and/or adapt to radiation. these things i could ignore if there wasnt so many scientific explanations in this story.

and why is this guy still so emotionless this MC is boring af. he only has 2 moods Boring and Clingy Simp. Shouldve had multiple Pov's because this dude is boring he is a zombie 99% of the time. Im not gonna finish it this novel i gave book 2 a try even though i wasnt felling book 1 because of all the positive reviews on amazon but i have to question if anyone actual read both of these books or are those reviews bots. ----DNF----
