Story Ok but not the voice actors

Hmmm… I’m not fond of Tim Paige’s narration—he sounds off. I don’t like his cadence, and he lacks range. I just recently finished a book with Declan Winters as the narrator, and I loved his voice, but his performance was just okay in this one.

Reads like mediocre fanfiction.

Honestly, not good. Got through most of the book, but cut and ran once I got to the overly forced sex scene. I'm no prude, but I'm also not on audible to read fanfiction grade nonsense. The plot was already flimsy and thin, but the "I hated you yesterday, but surprise, today turns out I'm into you so let's have sex!" vibes was just too much, too soon and with so little reason that it could not outweigh the cringe

Vampires

This is a different take on vampires. The vampires came to take over the rule of Earth because humans were killing the land and oceans. Jace volunteers to take his father's place to repay a loan that was past due. Jace and the Blood Boss slowly begin ti care for each other. I like it so well I listened to it in one day.

Unique in Every Way

I love Cain’s story. It’s so refreshing when I get to read a story with a vampire in it that’s different than any vampire story I’ve read before. The origin and reason for vampirism in the Blood Boss is unique. The story about Cain and Jayce meeting under stressful circumstances, and then falling for each other, is another winner by Davidson King! I also thoroughly enjoyed Tim Paige and Declan Winters’ narration. I loved hearing about Cain embracing the joy of finding love for the first time in his very long existence. Proof that the love of a good partner can make life so much better. Jayce is a happy person who makes the best of a bad situation simply by being the positive person he is. Together they’re swoon worthy. I highly recommend this audiobook!

Really great start

Great start to this paranormal series. I enjoyed the overall story and the performance was good. Had some difficulty at first determining whose voice was which MC but it became easier as the story progressed. Also I figured out who the villain was fairly quickly, so I would say it was a pretty straightforward plot. Still, really enjoyed and looking forward to the rest of the books.

Different take on paranormal

ithis was a bery enjoyable take on the paranormal we all love. it kept me interested and built a wonderful new world the narrators were amazing. im about to start the second book aand i hope they keep coming.

The Blood Boss

Wonderfully entertaining! Davidson King is such a great storyteller. Tim Paige and Declan Winters made the characters come to life. Overall excellent listen.

This story was the same as a million others. Boy meets vampire, blah, etc

WHAT IS GOING NOW?

The Story was really good. The characters were entertaining. Jayce and Cain the blood boss was an interesting couple and loved the history. This history of how the world become to really great to know. It helps u really go into the story. Can't wait for the second book.

Very interesting world created by the author

Love the vampire and the trident folks angle. The last parts leaves a lot of unanswered questions abt his abilities but great story overall
