Somnia is evolving, and Murmur is confronted with enemies both old and new. She must lead her guild, Fable, through a dungeon filled with riddles and puzzles to claim the first of 12 keys required to achieve victory. But things are not as they seem: Glitches abound, enemies rally against Fable, and unexpected threats move in the shadows.

As the system becomes increasingly complex, Laria and Shayla battle through mismatched coding, and Storm Corp discovers they’ve left some anomalies in the game out of their reports. Anomalies like Wren. With the report deadline looming, and errors riddling the system, Laria’s house of cards is about to come crashing down.

So good im hooked binging on tje whole series a must read for all rpg gamers

ok story

good voice acting(sometimes too good as the mc throwing a tantrum is super annoying).
a combination of litrpg, mediocre mystery box, elements of isekai and SAO, all combined into one. If you like those things and the MC sometimes being whiney isn't a dealbreaker you might enjoy this

great story

ready to go read book 4... the stakes keep raising, excited to see what happens next

A few things I didn't care for...

Overall, this is an entertaining book. The group makeup is interesting. I like some of the classes, they seem unique. The biggest downers are:

1. She snaps at her friends so much. Like, I get she is dealing with a lot, but man does she treat several of them like trash. "Oh, my bad. Soz, I won't do it again!" Then two sentences later she is back to being an uber bish.

2. How do all her main friends just happen to be able to play the entire day every day? Like, really? You just all happened to have leave/vacation/downtime you could take? The rogue has a daughter. He doesn't take time to see his family at all? The others MIGHT be college age, but you expect me to believe that they all also just happen to have parents wealthy enough to cover their schooling and are willing to let them basically live inside of a video game for the summer and not get a job to help out? Really? Even the ones that do have money will often make their kid help out with spending money over the summer. This aspect of all of this story is the most unbelievable.

"Your parents were in your room when I logged off..." Why didn't she ask them about talking to Ren and what all they had said? Why wouldn't she have told them Ren could hear parts of what they were saying while in-game? It doesn't make any sense, she is supposedly so worried about getting Ren out, but keeps HUGE information from the people working on things from the outside? Really?

The constant introspection and whining is irritating af.

Lastly, the voice the narrator chose for the game voice or w/e just grinds on my nerves. It is too high-pitched.

Awesome series

I was grateful when the first three books got put together I started the series and haven't been able to put it down

that being said the end of book 3 rockets you off a cliff where your only parachute is to go and get the fourth book. and I'm still working on that part
highly recommend narration is also on point as always for Andrea

great plot, horrible characters

I really like the plot and premise of this series. however, the characters are insufferable. two-dimensional and never get their shit together. is this what the author thinks people are like? how does this series take place over two weeks and have any of these characters remotely rational? where is the complete emotional breakdown and grievance of the MC? oh, it happened in a paragraph. I am so torn on continuing this series.
