About this listen

Chaos is descending on the City of Ancients.

The Twilight Ascent is coming to a boil. The Eveningtide Asura's plans are nearing fruition, while powerful factions try to block his ascent. The survival of Twilight Harbor and its citizens depends on who's victorious. Zac finds himself tied to the asura's chariot, but that's only one of his problems.

Uona Noz'Valadir has stolen the Splinter of Oblivion, leaving Zac with a ticking time bomb of Creation in his body. A trap has been set within the City of Ancients, but Zac has no choice but to enter the belly of the beast.

A final battle awaits, and Zac is determined to show everyone the price of meddling with his path.

Come on dude

Come on dude it’s the 9th book and it still seems like the MC still acts shocked and clueless while also being paranoid and combative. The MC still repeats every word he doesn’t understand. “I have dohickie” MC “A dohickie?” We have to go up this mountain MC “Up the Mountian?” Don’t get me started with the constant “Aaaaaahhhh” that’s not answer DUDE!!!

a wonderful addition to a wonderful series

a wonderful addition to a wonderful series. when building a long series with multiple archs some times you need to slow down and build a new foundation. this is that foundation to begins the next great chapter.

as always want to give a 10 out of 5.

even if this was just Zack getting stronger montage so he can go to the next stage in the next book it felt so worked out with true plot and slow build. perfect writing as always. Don't forget the amazing narrator making all this come together with the voice that makes me want to listen forever. 10 out of 5

NARRATOR NEEDS AN ASTHMA INHALER

I swear if you cut out all the inhaling from the narrator you would shave off a good 5 hours from this Audiobook. This coming from someone that loves this story and finds Pavi's narration extremely good. The inhaling after every sentence is something I noticed and couldn't stop noticing. It became almost comical at some points. If I ever find out Pavi Proczko has a PO box, I'll send him asthma inhalers alongside a fan letter.
