Eye-Opening Truth Bomb
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I recommend Deep Nutrition. This is a book for virtually every American because certain researchers and the medical establishment are blaming "fats" for everything but Dr. Cate Shanahan expertly explains how this simplistic outlook is dead wrong. Furthermore, she proposes excellent solutions.
Have you listened to any of Eliza Foss’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved the emphasis on epigenetics, especially as a scientist. That being said, the book is extremely simple for anybody to read and understand. I'm writing a book on Epigenetics because I think it's the future of scientific knowledge and I will definitely be singing the praises of Deep Nutrition in my own book.
Any additional comments?
Along with a short list of other health books, this book is a necessary part of your inoculation to modern "establishment" medical culture, which is leading America in greater and greater disease and obesity.

Information heavy with instruction on how to implement
I like highlighting my non-fiction books so I have a physical copy of this but this is valuable information to take control of your health and make your food be your medicine. No more peasant food for me.

A must read
I probably have 10 audible health books, several on kindle, and some more paperback. This would have to be in my top 5. I’d recommended to anyone. Of all my stuff only two books say vegetable oils are bad and this is one. And only one book that says greens are good and oils are bad. You guessed it.

Amazing well-rounded work
This is one of the best books that I have read in a long time.
Dr. Shanahan lays down the information in a highly readable manner, yet points you also to the research at the same time.
You didn't expect the public to care about the actual papers? Oh yes, there are many of us out there. Some of us want to go as "deep" as we can (see what I did there?).
Dr Shanahan also plays it really safe, mixing in traditional food and diet staples that have survived for thousands of years, practiced by millions of individuals. Compare that to the sample space of "modern" / "revolutionary" diets.
If all that wasn't enough, Shanahan adds humor and good vibes into the mix, extremely actionable and easy to digest information, and excuses to eat bacon.
This book might save your life, and / or your children's lives.

I Bought the Hard Copy After Listening
The ONLY expert who has been able to explain the cause and cure for every single chronic health issue I have. IBS, Ocular Migraines, Weight Gain (despite "doing it all correctly") Joint Pain, etc. This book will blow your mind and save your life.
