There's something about knowing life goes on for the NPCs when the players move on, that I like.

great performances, fun stories, and lovingly created. it definitely is showing that the CR team loves and cherishes what they have built. definitely worth the buy.

This books was so much fun and even better is an audiobook, with the whole Critical Role cast narrating.

An amazing look at Exandria

I found the book quite entertaining, which was a bit of a problem since I like listening to my audiobooks before bed, and instead of making me sleepy, these stories made me stay up. There’s a great variety of tones and characters, and some of the stories are incredibly moving. The performances are great, something I expected from the incredible cast and they did deliver as usual. Perhaps the only flaw is that this is obviously a books for the fans, either you are one or you will get lost, but if you aren’t one, take this as the sign to become one, I don’t think you’ll regret it.
