One of the best books I’ve read in years

A new convert to cozy fantasy, this is exactly the vibe I need in life. Please write more of these, world. Loved this book and can’t wait to read book two.

It’s a great story for sleep and calming a bit odd at times idk it’s hard to understand in the beginning I think it’s good

Cozy and sweet

Cozy with a very anxious lead, so if thst bothers you...to bad, i just felt seen.
I loved it, Miniscule nitpick: had to get used to how the leads name was pronounced by the narrator. Was sure she said "A letter" for the longest time.

the story was heartwarming, so cozy, sweet and found family feels. also made want to eat all the baked goods and I will most assuredly read the next book. !!! Loved it

Great world building and characters!

Fun contemporary setting with a bit of magic and shenanigans, characters interesting. Great light reading for those who enjoy elves, dwarves and other magical beings.

VERY FIRST COZY FANTASY!!! VERY ENJOYABLE

this was my first venture into cozy fantasy. I really enjoyed this story especially the Bake Off aspects of the story, being a huge fan myself of the Great British Bake Off. if you're on the fence about Cozy fantasy I would definitely check this book out it was very cute. I plan to listen to another story by J. Penner whenever another audio story becomes available.

Dolly stole my heart

This was such a wonderful, cozy little adventure. Bonus points for inclusivity and some interesting, unique fantasy races in addition to the standard elves, dwarves, orcs, and so on

This story was so cozy and wonderful! I really liked the characters, and I can't wait to read more in this world. The narration was fantastic as well!

Such a magically cozy read!

I cannot say enough about this story. I absolutely loved it. The performance was complementary to this sweet cozy story of baking, friendship, and little dash of magic.

Cozy & Sweet

Enjoyed this! Mix elven fated, with a dash of The Great British Bake Off, plus the bonds found-family... and that makes up the ingredients of this sweet and cozy story!

Note: Mild trigger warnings (including loss of family at young age). Nothing graphic, but characters do share how it still effects them years later.

Love the concept… terrible MC

Love the Lord of the Rings meets Great British Baking show. But the MC is exhausting and flat. It was like reading stereotypes of anxiety, also annoying night in shining armor to fight her battles instead her growing into herself to stand up for herself.

I like the easy read, but I wish the MC was someone to route for.
