Cultural Events

I was entertained by this box set as much as the other stories in the series. I combined these mysteries under the heading of cultural events as the first book of the box set featured a theater, the second story featured a traditional festival, and the third one featured the annual governor's ball. I found these stories fascinating as these earlier stories detailed the beginnings of the relationship between Meghan and her workers in the bakery and their growing pains as they learned to become the cohesive unit they became in later stories. I liked the development of the relationship between Jack and Meghan also. I enjoyed Elena Marino's narration. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions of this audiobook.

Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery

Megan Truman, bakery owner, and her friends of Sandy Bay in the Northwest are typical cozy characters. The character dialog and plot action are steady with no overt language or violence. I recommend following the series in chronological order, although not necessary for story enjoyment.
