VERY ENJOYABLE

27 hours of murder mystery after murder mystery. This 14 book boxed set is a bargain and l recommend the stories and narration as easy to listen to, clean, interesting mysteries.

Ok don’t love it

It’s ok but nothing special. Lots for the price but just so so. I’ll finish but not recommend.

Characters were too fake

The story was very simple as well as the vocabulary. The characters too sugary & fake. The performance was just as fake. I have already purchased the next set in the series so I will listen to it but it's not likely that I'll any more from this author.

Suspenseful

What an amazing story. Suspense, intrigue and strong characters that come alive with the Narrator’s voice. Will the murder be solved. Can’t wait for more.

Nice, but needs work.

Stories were somewhat predictable. Needs serious audio editing throughout. They are nice, light, cozy listens.

Juvenile stories. Great if you're 10

This collection of short stories are fun, but simple.  I think that they are written for 10 year-old kids.  But I enjoyed them just the same.  Fun stories.   

Great series!

I really wasn't sure when I started this series. The narration was really good, so I stuck with it. By the 3rd book, I was wanting more. I just downloaded the next set in the series.

Meghan offers treats and mystery

Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery Series Books 1-14 is a wonderful series by Amber Crewes. Elena Marino is outstanding as the narrator. I will say that I have read all of the books in this series and I love them. I think that I enjoy listening to the audio books as much as reading the series. Amber Crewes writes exceptional cozy mysteries that have humor, a good mystery, and enjoyable characters. Each book builds Meghan’s story and her relationship with the handsome Detective Irvin. I was excited that this book set is over half of the books in the series which is a great bargain. I enjoyed over 29 hours of great audio listening.

Wish i hadn’t wasted a credit

Really slow. Narrator was overly dramatic. Almost childlike voices chanting sing song oh no not me.

I listened so as to not waste my spent credits. It feels like the writer has to meet a certain number of words per book so she adds adjectives upon adjectives.
Also I feel that Meghan was meek and unsure of herself from years of emotional abuse by her mother, allowing her friends and boyfriend/husband to be emotionally abusive also. Sad example for young girls.
