Good Story for Age Gap Trope

I liked the recording even though I was hesitant of some reviewers' feedback on the male voice. I thought he voice was just fine and did not take away from the overall story. Shanora Williams does great with getting you emotionally attached to characters and the sex scenes are always good.

Male narrator is not at all sexy

I enjoyed this forbidden love story, but the male narrator was not good. His voice was whiney. Not even a little sexy.

The age difference

The age difference killed it for me. I felt like I was listening to a steamy scene with a child.

Decent story line.

The choice of narrators kinda messed it up. Changing that would change a lot. The storyline was good and speaks to those who prefer age gaps

This book is so good. I loved everything about it! The writing, the characters, and the narrators were perfect. I was holding my breath until the end because I didn't know how it was going to turn out for them. I wish I could listen to it again for the first time.

I would definitely recommend this book. This author is becoming one of my favorites. I've finished 2 series and 2 standalones by her and all have been fantastic! ❤️

The love they had for each other.

I didn't like the age difference, but I like that they took their time. A cute love story.

This book is so hard to get through

Goddess, I love a forbidden romance, but the male narrator is not at all it. I’d love to know how narrators are chosen because what they are trying to sell with the males description and the voice attached…I’m not buying it. It ruined the book for me.

Great Story

I loved the story line, but the male narrator was not agreeable for that role.

The relatable feelings really get you emotional!

I loved that we got to see amber & joaqin’s future at the end, so happy for them!

Didn’t care for the premise.

I struggled with this one. I got a bunch of free books on Audible and thought I would try to read this one before it expired on 5/7. I was uneasy about the premise, which is about an affair between a student and coach. She’s over 18 but it still felt icky. It felt like the author was telling instead of describing in her storytelling if that makes sense. Some parts are overly focused on irrelevant info. I also didn’t enjoy the narrators (the female moreso than the male narrator was bothersome) but maybe it’s a combination of the story, style, and the narration. I am used to reading very well written books and this ain’t it.
