Great Thriller

Kept me on the edge. Definitely worth the read. Narration was great. Loved every minute of it. Lots of curb balls.

Predictable and terrible ending

Not very “thrilling” or surprising. The end was a disappointment and left the reader frustrated

Whewww baby the plot twisted and then thickened.

I did not expect that to happen. But wow I’m so glad it did this book has all the twist and turns I expected it to. I was so impressed with the amount of imagery that was described. What talk about revenge. I was so mad and confused and then satisfied and then angry all over again. I’d read this twice.

Narration was fantastic, the story was OK

First the narration; Our narrators, more specifically the main one for the bulk of the story, did a wonderful job. She was emotive in a way that perfectly suited the story. There was a point where it gets hard to listen to because of how negative our main character was and the narrator just read her so well you feel immersed in her hatred. Incredible job!

Second, the story. The buildup was so good, I actually really enjoyed the bulk of the story. The ending though, was truly unsatisfying for me. It had me right up until the end and I saw there was no sequel. What?

Great read BUT incomplete ending

The story was great! I enjoyed the twists and unexpected turns toward the end. However, that ending was incomplete in my opinion. I really do hope for a part 2. That would make this story better.

This was the first book I read by this author, and I definitely will be coming back for more. The twist and turns were very good. I love the Lifetime feel of the story..

I really like how Shanora structures her books. This is my second book I e read from her. It kept me engaged the whole time. I also thought the narration was solid.
