Very interesting and brief overview of church history. How he addresses the crusades was of special interest. He seems to touch on all the ins and outs of church history with great acumen. Great book for beginner church history enthusiast!

this is a very well thought out and explained view of church history with all of the church fathers throughout the last 20 centuries from a reformed point of view. the battles against other religions and the Catholic Church. praise God for men of faith in our past!

A Great Summary
Though short, this book is a great summary of church history and the causes and effects of the actions of men. And how Gods Word will forever stand above the ways of man regardless of powers and men whom put their ways and traditions above Gods instructions.
I recommend this to those who want to dip their toe into church history.

Good history
I enjoyed listening to this short production of flying through the centuries. It was good history, but perhaps a bit too many evangelical conclusions were reached. It definitely sends a message that will resonate with hard core believers.
It felt like a history lesson sponsored by the church. That said, I love the brief format.It would be good for church groups who get little to no Church History training. As my dad always told me, eat the meat and spit out the bones.
