I like this series but

good series have listened to it a few times but one bit alway bothers me is kyna not sure if thats the spelling but her getting upset for them not telling her jelly can talk. Acting like she isn't hiding her background doesn't make sence that she can get mad for them keeping a secret that has a good reason and noone realizes or points out she does the same.

Good, but not as good as the first.

Felt like not much actually happened, decent school setting, but not much was accomplished. Looking forward to book 3.

A little more crude than the first

I’d say the first book was more family friendly than this one. This one has a little more sexual innuendo, vulgarity, and violence than the first.
Still a good story though.

Well written with lots of twists and turns

Promoted as " for age 12 and above" This is a detriment, as adults will overlook it.
As a fan of a well written syfi/fantasy this story has all the awsum sauce

Fantastic story!

Jelly goes to magic school it’s simply fun to listen too. The story is rich with its own style and is a joyful relaxing story. Thank you very much for a wonderful series I can’t wait for more!

excellent YA book

I found this to be another excellent book about the ooze as it grows in power and gains speech. The problem I have is that the ooze is growing more human and too powerful for my tastes.

Changes in character.

Hey, I was a big fan of the story until the end then the author change the character at the last moment.This is one of the things I hate the most and make me stop reading a book series. The main character is a practical thinker what's brief spurts of rage and vowels to kill the ones that hurt is owner, he hesitates to finish both villains off. He even announces himself before he kills his first victim, there is no sense in this action and waste time.

A great Slime's Tale

Enjoyed this installment of the story. I certainly didn't catch the hints about everything, but enjoyed it all nonetheless.
