Touched my heart
Sally’s story and mindset about pain and loss are so inspiring. Her memories around her mother’s passing brought back my experience of losing my own mom to cancer. So real and beautiful.

Challenges build strength
We don’t get to choose what situations we end up in but we learn from difficulties and can choose how to respond. This is an inspiring story of a woman who was dealt a tough hand, made the most of it, and continues to use the strength that she has developed.

These stories have to be heard.
Sally’s story had to be written down. I didn’t know what to expect when I started this book. Wow! I was swept away. Immediately had my 14 year old daughter start reading it. I see the evidence of Sally’s beliefs is what helps her overcome horrible obstacles with such great grace. Sally, I love your outlook of life after all you have and will endure.

A real story about strength and adversity
This story was real and moved me to tears many times. The author uses her voice to record this and you can feel her emotions. the story was well written and it really makes you feel like you are there with her. It is a true testament that the power of choosing to be strong . I am now a bigger fan of sally her heart and love and loyalty to her mom and sisters are beautiful. She deserves all the success in this life.

Heartbreaking and Inspiring
What a heartbreaking, courageous and inspiring story. I was a big Sally fan before listening to this book, and my administration for her has grown even more. Can't wait for the next book. Thanks Sally for being so open and vulnerable.

Dear Sally
💛 I wanted this biography to be one of the last stories I had in my mind before my next 100 miler and last race of the season. Little did I realize how I’d be running for hours with tears falling down my face. But there isn’t a better way to train the mind and heart for an Ultra than listening to the courage and heart of Yellowrunner.
