Critic reviews

" Casanova in Bolzano is at once erotic in its texture and sense of longing, witty in its observation about the human condition and, on top of everything else, great fun to read." ( The Washington Post)

A Welcome Discovery

I loved this.
After escaping prison, Giacomo Casanova returns to the town where he once fought a duel with the Duke of Parma over Francesca, now the Duchess.
Not a novel of physical plots and swordfights but one of emotions, ideas, love & revenge-- with an unexpected ending.
