Loved it!

Here we have a delightful story reminiscent of a dark version of Beauty and the Beast. The characters have great depth, and very soon into the story, we learn of the personal burdens they each carry. There were times when my respect for Daisy waned, but she earned it all back at the end when she showed her true strength. Although very predictable, this is an enjoyable story that keeps the listener entertained throughout. The pacing and storyline never went stagnant, and it is for this reason, the book seemed to go as quickly as it did. The talented narrators made the listener feel the inner turmoil, love, and passion through their storytelling, which was vividly believable and, at times, beautiful. The intimate scenes were intense and almost made me blush. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a dark romance that has an actual plot. Bravo to the author and the narrators - excellent job!

Dmitri the beast!

I loved this Mafia Romance. It had enough steam, mafia moments and action. I love how even someone is imperfect in looks can be seen for what they are inside. Dmitri's love and worship for Daisy was super sweet. I would definitely recommend.

Great Read

Couldnt get enough of it, wish it didnt end!
The plot and romance was great. I was listening to it every free time I got.

Pretty good

This is the first romance I’ve heard narrated by a guy, dear lord is this Gregory guy good!! And the female isn’t bad either! Also another first is that eachother chapter is the character pov! Not bad!!

My only issue, not even the stories fault, I think, l’m getting slowly desensitized, This didn’t seem “that” dark. Like year it had some dark aspects but, it could be worse?? XD

Dark romance worth listening to.

I enjoyed this story, though a little unbelievable and violence that a bit much at times. That said the combo also kept the story progressing & overall made it work. The actors really did a great job. I like to hear the females in a normal conversational tone and tempo. I would recommend this to listen to something a little different.

The characters are so complex and credible. Refreshing. I'm sick of the heroine being so confused and barely knows what a hard on is, and the hero is being so angry and growling "mine" all the time. This book is just *chefs kiss*
