Modern day Beauty and the Beast

I went in completely blind, didn't even glance at the blurb before jumping in, and it was the best decision I could have made! This book completely captivated me and drew me in from the very first paragraph!!! This book completely took over my life for 2 days!!! Natasha really knows how to write a sexy "bad" guy who really isn't that bad!

The narration was amazing!

This is my first time listening to this Author and one of the narrator's which was Kate Genevieve. Of course I know whose Christian Fox. Both Narrator's did a great job. I feel that the story was bad but a little long. It really wasn't a mafia dark story to me but again it was a good story.

WOW

I loved this book. I cried when she cried, I was angry when she was angry. I felt the pain they were in pain! this was well written. I would recommend this book to anyone!

The Hot Dark Mafia I Needed!!

Caution: Hot and steamy scenes will make you blush if listening in public! I know I did! Great story with a lot of depth to the characters. Very enjoyable. i didn't except to finish so soon but I couldn't stop listening.

Dark but good.

I loved the story even though it was unbearably dark at times. Characters well developed and easy to like even though they are not good people. Love the series so far.

I was really surprised how good this book was. It’s definitely worth listening too if you can handle the darkness and understand it

This wasn’t your typical mafia book
Not much crime related issues involved
I still have questions about what happened to the cousin Benji and the biggest deal in the North American ring of crime.
It focuses more on the romance side.
There are a lot of twists and turns.
Strong heroine vibes
Good romantic relationship

Overall it was a good read
Don’t regret my time spent on it
I did want to finish the book
But I was left with questions. No book two yet from the author that would explain the questions either.

But the narrators did great!

Good Story

Christian Fox was excellent. Kate Genevieve's narration was a tad slow and annoying. The story was pretty good, so I was able to make it through the female narration although I think I would have rather just heard the whole story from Christian Fox.

Hard to explain

The first thing I have to say is this is not a story for people who are sensitive to the "dark". Yes, it's specifically stated as a "dark" mafia story, but I didn't realize just HOW dark. I've read a couple stories that resemble Beauty and the Beast, but none of them came close to this one. However, I will say that if you manage to get through the entire book it is an interesting story.
