About this listen

Relegated to the realm of archaeological heresy, despite a wealth of hard scientific evidence, the theory that an advanced civilization of Black Africans settled in the Sahara long before Pharaonic Egypt existed has been dismissed and even condemned by conventional Egyptologists, archaeologists, and the Egyptian government.

Uncovering compelling new evidence, Egyptologist Robert Bauval and astrophysicist Thomas Brophy present the anthropological, climatological, archaeological, geological, and genetic research supporting this hugely debated theory of the B;ack African origin of Egyptian civilization.

Building upon extensive studies from the past four decades and their own archaeoastronomical and hieroglyphic research, the authors show how the early Black culture known as the Cattle People not only domesticated cattle but also had a sophisticated grasp of astronomy; created plentiful rock art at Gilf Kebir and Gebel Uwainat; had trade routes to the Mediterranean coast, central Africa, and the Sinai; held spiritual and occult ceremonies; and constructed a stone calendar circle and megaliths at the ceremonial site of Nabta Playa.

Black history

this is why I love history. everyone should do their own research and they'll find that the nonsense the media and school has thought them is nothing but a self congratulating lie made to strip all black kids of self esteem and boost all other ethnicities based on a lie

This book is a good starting point for truth.

The truths that are in this book gives me comfort in knowing that there are still people out there who seeks unbiased truth and presents at least fundamental evidence of that truth. Great book for African Americans to read.

Incredible

An inspiring and detailed account of the origin of ancient Egyptian civilization. Thoroughly researched and well thought out presentation of the Black genesis of civilization. I am prouder to be a Black African after hearing this masterful work. Any seriously curious student of human civilization and/or African history ought to listen to this work.

Bravo! A genuine search for the truth.

This book takes a brave step toward challenging the modern understanding of the origins of Pharaonic Egypt. Admittedly, there are sections of the material that required me to re-listen and research for greater understanding which further validated the authors’ interpretation. In fact, there are other teams studying the pre Pharaonic Egypt with roots in the Sahara Kush/Nubian empire (Lost Kingdom of the Black Pharaohs). In a separate study there is evidence the practice of mummification came from
Central Africa. I can almost hear our human ancestors laughing at us when the evidence is staring us in the face the whole time. Out of darkness (origins) comes the light (truth)!
From the dirt of the ground we were born and in that dirt, we find our truth (ourselves). To the authors and contributors, cheers to trowels held high and keep digging! Thank you for the enlightening.

Very Good Audio and Intriguing Information

I really enjoyed this astronomical and scientific research into Black African history. It uncovered bias and prejudices that have disrupted the true history of antiquity. Thanks!

Intriguing and Bold

This was a great read. I definitely recommend anybody that's interested in the history of Egypt to listen. Listening to Page makes you feel as if your on a expedition yourself into the remote desert.
