Terrific background and personal stories, always rooted and backed up with data and examples. Enthusiastic and honest performance. Debunks so many misconceptions and popular myths. A must read. Excellent and telling.

Stop! Don’t skip reading this book!

Noa hit out of the park! Historically accurate, with personal stories strewn throughout, & an honest reflection on today’s Isreal.
While, we sit on opposite sides of the fence on faith, we do have the same understanding of Israel’s import to world history. We view the nation of Israel as it is - not how liberal politicians & many others see Israel - as a friend, not a foe to world peace.
There are nuggets all throughout the book that make you go “yes!” because the dots are connected & cracks of misunderstanding are filled in.
If you are being intellectually honest, this book will be enlightening to many & validate others’ uneducated support of Israel & the Jews. I mean, how can the people responsible for Instant Messaging & Waze be bad?

Clear, well researched and good

I am a foreign diplomat assigned to Israel. I am not religious. I move with my family. Few days from our arrival I started to see and feel what Ms. Noa Tishby describe and support with facts in her great book, Ienjoyed every minute of it. Israel is an open, welcoming and a very entrepreneurial country.

Simple and accurate!

This is one of the best written books on history I have ever read. The personal story around it makes it even more interesting and live. This is REAL and unapologetically accurate, shows the good the bad and the ugly of the whole situation in all sides. Thank you Noa for all your hard work!

It helped me understand one side of the argument that is always a touchy topic with so many people. This is a must listen in my eyes because of how detailed it was about this hot world issue.

The author seems honest Israel’s struggles with good and bad criticisms. And, she gives a better understanding of the people who actually live in this country.
