Loved this book and the narrator!

Very enjoyable from start to finish. Good characters great narration - good twists too. That’s it and that’s all

I absolutely loved it!

This is a well-done version of beauty and the beast. I listened every second i could to this wonderful story. I adored the characters, and the storyline was unique... which made it even better! I was hooked from the first... in fact I wanted more when it came to its ending... thank you for the enjoyment!

Listened for the narrator

I am a huge Mary Jane Wells fan and listened for the narration. This is my first Hannah Howell experience. I enjoyed the writing style, liked the story, and felt connected to the characters. The dialog was witty, it made me laugh several times.

The story was enhanced by a great narrator. Interesting story. Good character development. Interesting plot twists.

Sweet Retelling of the Classic Story

This was my first title by this author, and I mostly chose it because of the narrator Mary Jane Wells who I always love. It was a sweet fast, paced story of fate and Fortune bringing two unlikely souls together as one. The love scenes were sweet, but not terribly spicy overall I recommend it.

Good book

The storyline was a bit predictable, but the characters were well done and each had to overcome their own perceptions of themselves and each other. I liked the banter between them. I’d recommend this book!

Narrator was quiet

It was a good story and the narrator was good but she was just so soft spoken that I had a hard time focusing on what she was saying and she was a bit quiet

Loved it!

I absolutely loved this story. I was in the mood to listen to a historical fiction romance and I was absolutely not disappointed. It delivered and even surprised me how in depth the plot went. I absolutely recommend it. The plot twist was surprising but I loved it. The romance was beautiful well written. Mary Jane Wells did an amazing job narrating this story.
