An Unusual Job

A quick read with a great twist. Jake is a hitman, getting jobs through the Dark Web. He's good at his job, but this time he might have met his match.

I enjoy stories that are quick to read and entertaining and this one definitely fits that description. The narrator does a great job (as usual) and the author really draws the listener into the action. I will be looking for more books by the author and more narrations by Mr. Berry.

I was given the opportunity to listen to this book by the narrator/author and chose to review it.

The hitman

Jake was a hitman who loved his job. He planned out every detail, except one. He met his match with this last hit. There was an unexpected twist in this short story. The hitman became the prey. Matthew Berry did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Twisted

This story was well written. I did not see the plot twist coming. I would like to hear more of this storyline. It was well worth the listen.

Twist O Rama

WoW! What a great little short story. This is my first Travis McBee offering and I will be looking for more. You think Jake is the man and then Stephen comes in and he's the man...Oh! and 4 more and Stephen will be a cat..That's all I am going to say, I don't want to spoil it for you Matthew E. Berry does a great job of narrating. I was provided an audiobook code by the author, narrator and FABC.and this is my voluntary unbiased review.

Fascinating

"An Unusual Job" (2013, 2019) by Travis McBee is a fascinating short story about a professional killer hired for a job via the internet. He finds fulfilling his contract more challenging and dangerous than he anticipated. The story held my attention from start to finish. Narrator Matthew E. Berry is compelling. Highly recommended. At my request, I was given this free audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Short treat.

Very quick listen. although Inknew something was up still enjoyed the turn the book took. As do most great short stories, it had the making for a much bigger book but was peffect the way it was.
The narrator did a decent job of reading this. Worth the count.

kill or be killed

nothing like a hit man to ruin your day, some days it's no always worth it, lol I enjoyed this short tale. I received this aduiobook and choose to voluntarily review.

All I can say is WOW

An Unusual Job is a fast paced short well written story with a creative plot. The twist is a total WOW I did not see that coming. The writing is descriptive and entertaining. The plot is not what you believe it is absolutely creative and phenomenal.
I received this book per my request and it is an absolutely amazing must read/listen. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
