Stella Hunter and Shane East Are Perfect!

Another excellent love story from Samantha Young. She has built such an amazing world at Ardnoch Estate and I love being immersed in it!
I loved the character of Aria. She was so put together in her professional life but so broken in her personal life. Sometimes you just need a character with some body insecurity, because for so many of us readers it is relatable!
But then here comes North Hunter (sexy Scottish actor) who falls so hard for Aria and helps her believe in herself and she helps him work through his past trauma.

This audiobook was so well done. Excellent production (no clicks, pop, or background noise) and beautiful human narration. I was SO impressed with Stella Hunters range of accents (sometimes within the SAME SCENE)! Shane East also brings the absolute HEAT in the spicy scenes!

All the feels!

I loved Ari and North’s story. I can so relate to how Ari felt about herself. I hope I find my North someday

Sweet love story

Love the male voice and spicy scenes. Can’t wait for the next story in this series. Makes me want to move to Scotland.

My Favorite Ardnoch Couple

Aria and North are is the sweetest and sexiest pair so far of the Ardnoch couples. I appreciate the inclusion of a woman with perceived body flaws ingrained inadvertently by a parent. She sounds like a Sophia Loren curvaceous type. Even still her struggle with body image is highly relatable to many women. As for North his playfulness and sweetness despite his rough beginnings gave him huge appeal beyond his physical appearance. Shane East and Stella Hunter are my favorite narration duo. Both are clearly in their element.

Well done

Samantha knows how to easily draw a person in with her writing and story telling and this one is no different.

I loved Aria, she has obviously struggled with body insecurity, and even tho she is SO well put together professionally, she was struggling personally.

And then North comes along and he falls hard for her and helps her believe in herself. I adored the chemistry between these two but truly appreciated their vulnerability with each other. They tore each others walls down together.

Toss in a big of suspense, and this whole book was perfection! I adored it!

Narration: Shane East and Stella Hunter both nailed this narration. No extra notes. Simply just well done.

Another installment of a very enjoyable series

Shane East is perfection. Stella Hunter is a masterful voice actor as well. I enjoy the series, and particularly this book. While I would have liked to have seen the MMC’s childhood explored a bit more, the body issues the FMC exhibited were very understandable. This was well worth of credit, and I look forward to the next installment.

North is a great hero

Among the Heather is a second book in the Highland series. It was good. I love North as a hero, the romance, the plot as a whole, but the heroine let her insecurities rule her for far too long.

Book & Audio Review

Is my account a Samantha young Stan account? Why yes it is! She is one of the sweetest author I’ve interacted with on booksta and I will never stop obsessing over this series. Samantha writes the SWOONIEST MMCs. Is it partly because of the accents? Probably.

Ok ok on to my review. Aria was such a complex FMC and I related to her so much. Her character growth through this book was nothing short of inspiring and amazing. North… oh North despite his broken past his care for others was beautiful. His care and kindness towards arias insecurities was amazing. This book had so much depth. You can find found family, body positivity, trauma healing, spice and so much more wrapped up in this story!

In true highland series fashion the element of suspense kept the pages turning in this one! This book gets all the stars! On to Through the Glen and I can just tell Theo is going to be delicious 😉

• Thoughts:
I really liked this book! I liked the dynamic of the characters, and once the MFC started to open up and drop her guard a smidge, she was able to show her true nature and be the person North sees. I love how she is described as a Curvy character and North is this Hollywood star yet you can tell North is absolutely 100 percent smitten with her. I dunno, I just really enjoyed this book and got through this book in a day. It held my attention and just made me sigh.

Narrator Thoughts:
Loved them! Stella Hubter and Shane East are the narrators and they did such a finaminal job!

Ooh I loved this book. More intrigue than the first book. And more relatable characters.

Aria Howard seemed to all to be so put together yet like so many of us women. Has insecurities about herself. She may have been raised in luxury but really had no one who recognized her beauty and her fierce drive for her career as well as her undeniable love for her younger sister.

Then the ruggedly handsome actor North Hunter, who seems to get under Aria’s skin, comes back to Ardnoch Estates to hide from the paparazzi after a scandal pushes him back to the highlands.

I loved how North brought out Aria’s belief that she was beautiful and worthy of love.

This book is full of situations that put both of these characters in peril of crazed people who thought they could insinuate themselves into their lives. There’s many situations in this book that kept me riveted to hear this book through without stopping. And the voice acting was exceptional again with Shane East and Stella Hunter performing various roles all distinct and with well defined accents to boot. Loved it!
