What a fun first read

This book was definitely a fun first book to the spin-off of the Carter Brothers series! I enjoyed this audio book and hearing the male and female narrators. They brought the story to life for me. I cannot wait for the next book in the series now!

Narrators/Awful

i LOVE LLV stories, but this story would have been so much better with different narrators. Both the male and female narrators were horrendous. I'm going to have to but the book to read to really enjoy this story. I really wish the authors had a say in the narrators that read their books because seriously it can make or break a book.

This should have been a regular story not a real brava. she dropped the ball on this one.

Amazing book!

Looking forward to my next listen in this series. Hopefully his wife’s brother’s and sister’s will get a book too.

I listen to anything by lani lynn vale. This book was good, can't wait for the next.

Surprisingly Good

I decided to give this title a try because the blurb interested me. I've only listened to 1 title by the author before and I thought it was okay so I wasn't put off by giving her another try - I have to admit she has clever title names! Both the performers are new to me and they did a great job. I enjoyed hearing the 'fact of the day' that Brecken engaged with her students and really I learned something new about people with lactose intolerance. I felt sympathy for Brecken, I enjoy cheese and eggs a lot so I can't imagine having to spend an hour blowing up the bathroom because I ate something with those ingrediants - or anything with dairy. I also liked that Brecken was very accepting of Shasha; she knows he is a dangerous man so that danger would impact her. This means the possibility of needing bodyguards. I get so irritated when MFC's get ridiculous about having to have bodyguards; they say they can "take care of themselves" so of course within 5 minutes of losing their bodyguard they get captured 🙄.

Awesome start to a new series!

I LOVED this fast-paced and captivating romance! I feel like I’ve waited FOREVER for Stay Toxic to release and I was not disappointed. LLV is my absolute favorite author. She always delivers the best plots and characters.
Breken and Shasha fit together so perfectly. He’s a bad-a$$ that can get $hit done & she’s a school teacher with zero f’s to give. Together they’re 🔥!
The narrators were so on-point with this one and I could not be more pleased. I wasn’t ready for it to end. I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one!

Shasha and Brecken

An outstanding beginning to a new series. Stay Toxic is an electrifying, intoxicating and scintillating romance. Shasha and Brecken are explosive together. Their chemistry was palpable and the bond they developed was simply amazing. I loved that Shasha was a hard & dark man but with the gooiest center when it came to his family and Brecken. These two are beautiful in the most raw and intense ways, they made my heart clinch then swell. I loved this story.
