Lots of action and kept me guessing. Good story.

Book one is a great introduction to the series' main character. Narration is excellent. No need for he said, she said, you know by the voice who is talking. It's the type of mystery I like;
the author gets straight to the point without unnecessary dialogue or atmospheric descriptions. The beginning is a bit shocking, but it gets your attention gives insight to the suspect. Enjoyed the story and look forward to more of Jim Bean.

Pretty good for a freebie!

The narration really made this story, I thought at first it was going to be a real cheeser, but for the most part it kept me intrigued throughout. Would def recommend!

I really liked the story and the narration.

I think if I had the ability to write, and wrote about a pi I might make him a little more heroic. But seriously, a really good story.

I enjoyed this. I'm always a sucker for the underdog, such as the detective in this novel. It took me a while to get into, but I enjoyed the humor and the pace of the novel.

Birth Control Reason Number 19!

19 Souls was one of the most engaging audiobooks ever!

The voice of the reader brought it fully to life and emotions. The villainess here was an incredible composite of Suipsychopity greatness. Walking posterboard for birth control and child services improvements crossed with respect the curves. Loved the mental ride and disliked how simply it wrapped up. Or maybe I was not ready for it to be over.
