This is a great listen to better understand "Anxious Attachment" which seems to be a current buzz phrase. This work has absolute steps to identify, and recover, if you find yourself in this situation. This book would also help in understanding a loved one who deals with this issue. The relatable scenarios make it more interesting and understandable to grasp the concepts. The narrator was pleasant to listen to. While, it is never required, I do appreciate when an accompanying pdf is provided with material such as this. So, I might offer that as a suggestion to the author. For me personally, I like having a pdf to reference after the listen and also to see the resources utilized for the creation of the material, as that further validates the information for me. But, that is just a personal preference for me.

La ciencia en la que se basa el ayuno intermitente y sus beneficios para el equilibrio hormonal y el antienvejecimiento se explica con claridad y me ha convencido de que es esencial para mejorar la salud. Me impresiona especialmente cómo el ayuno intermitente puede restablecer el metabolismo y mejorar la energía, el rendimiento mental y el bienestar general. ¿Por qué no querría yo estos beneficios? El audiolibro estaba bien narrado y era atractivo, y mi interés ha despertado tanto que voy a comprar el libro de bolsillo para consultarlo más fácilmente. It also outlines a step-by-step approach for even total elimination of sugar for prolonged and life-changing success.

As an RN, I appreciated the clear documentation on the harmful effects of sugar in the typical American diet. It’s a strong reminder for me to stay committed to healthier choices. The narrator was pleasant to listen to, and the information felt relevant and doable. I’d recommend this to anyone ready to examine how sugar impacts their energy, weight, and overall well-being.

Out of many books I’ve read or listened to on dementia caregiving, this one stands out as my top recommendation. The narrator’s voice is pleasant and easy to listen to, which helped me stay engaged throughout. The book takes a unique approach by following a realistic, compassionate five-year journey with Evie, a dementia patient, and her daughter Maria, who cares for her from diagnosis through Maria’s passing. I really appreciated the “Caregiver’s Corner” in each chapter, which discusses specific needs at each stage. The “Key Points” and “Quick Action Items” at the end of each chapter are extremely practical and helpful also.

Another standout aspect for me is the mention of numerous online resources, many of which are free—just knowing where to look makes such a difference. This audiobook would be a valuable guide for anyone in a primary caregiver role, and it would also make a thoughtful gift for someone who might not have had the time to find a resource like this for themselves. I highly recommend this audiobook and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have found it.

I found this audiobook surprisingly helpful for addressing the lasting effects of trauma. As someone who experienced a traumatic event at the age of 13, I’ve had chronic health issues like fibromyalgia, and these exercises are beneficial in working through some of that. The book covers a lot about how trauma leaves impressions on the body and includes plenty of practical exercises to help eliminate or ease those effects. While I see this as only part of the work to be done in healing, it’s an essential piece missing from my approach.

The exercises take only a few minutes, making them easy to work into my routine. Plus, the narrator has a very pleasant voice, which makes the sessions feel calm and peaceful to me. I’d recommend this to anyone dealing with stress, trauma, or health issues tied to those experiences. I also believe this approach would be helpful to anyone dealing with the overall stress and anxiety of life.

I always appreciate an accompanying PDF to an audiobook, and you will find one here.This makes for easy reference after the listen. I can also visualize how researched this topic was for the writing of this material, as evidenced by an extensive Reference section at the conclusion of the PDF. Well done!

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this audiobook is to navigate and use. The structure is incredibly user-friendly; each topic includes a session of meditations with hypnotic suggestions accompanied by nice background music, followed by affirmations on the same theme. I can easily jump to chapters on specific goals like Stress Reduction, Boosting Confidence, or Reducing Cravings—just a few of the many topics covered. The four hypnotic music sessions are also a nice touch, great for relaxation or as background while reading affirmations aloud, which is simple with the included PDF. The narrator’s soothing voice makes each session feel natural and impactful. I’m already noticing a positive shift in my mindset, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an encouraging approach to self-improvement or weight loss. There's true power in shaping our mindset; this audiobook facilitates that beautifully.

Something I Need for Daily Peace and Reflection

What a gem I found in this collection! Each entry includes a "truth statement" rooted in God's Word, followed by the scripture reference and the full reading on topics such as Victory, Peace, Healing, and Anxiety. The readings are divided into separate audio listens to make it easy to select exactly what I need at the time. I always enjoy it when a free PDF download is included, and Mel Madsen did not disappoint. The PDF is a great bonus, perfect for printing out or keeping handy for reference when an audible listen is not possible.

I love listening to this while driving—it keeps my mind focused and helps me avoid anxious thoughts. The narrator’s peaceful voice and calming background music create a peaceful atmosphere for me. It’s also wonderful to play before starting the day, before bed, or whenever I need a bit of extra peace and reassurance. I appreciate how it's thoughtfully put together, making it easy to return to whenever I need spiritual grounding. I’ll be reaching for this one time and time again!
