I absolutely loved Hayden and Charlotte’s story!!!!!! At the beginning of the book there were parts that played out a bit slow so I was a bit worried knowing how long the book is, but it was all so worth it! There were so many twists and turns like just when I thought I knew what was going to happen and how the story was going to play out something would happen that had me covering my mouth and kicking my feet! It really had me on the edge of my seat during some chapters. What a crazy mindf*ck when we discover who Charlotte really is and who her mother is! I just about fell out of my seat during that revelation. I actually think I needed those slow moments and details to understand the bigger picture of the plot. I loved how all the old characters from past books were all featured in this one, so I was able to see what became of them after their books. I loved Adam’s role in the story, I always loved his character but he became one of my top favorites in this book. I love how Hayden went from playboy that never bothered with relationships and had to buy his women because of certain particular kinks to falling madly in love with the enemy he originally wanted to get revenge on and making a happy not so functional family with her. They are still part of the lords still after all. I can’t wait to read Kashton’s book since we now know that will be the next and final book for the Carnage men. Once this series is completed, I would love to read a new series about the next generations. Since we got to see a peak into that generation in the second epilogue, I would love to know what Hayden and Charlotte’s deprived and wild triplets get up to when they get initiated as lords. I hope Shantel considers writing a series for them and all the other lords and ladies kids in the future!! One character that I really liked in the last book kinda made me dislike her in this book and that character was Ashton. I saw her in a new light through different perspectives and I just didn’t like what I saw. Anyways I would definitely 10/10 recommend this book to anyone that loves dark romance books with tropes like secret society. Check your trigger warning and enjoy all of the delicious spicy smut that this book contains cuz I know I sure did!!!;)

Wow what a great first book to a series I just know is gonna get even better!! I can’t wait till the next book comes out!! I love dark mafia romances but I can be a bit picky with them and this just hit all my boxes perfectly! It has all the good character development, enemies to lovers, a bit of bully and found family, a decent amount of action and great plot, and the smut is hot hot hotttt with a combo of sad and happy love making the perfect HEA!

What a freaking cliffhanger that was!! Holy shit mind blown. I’m running not walking to go snatch up the second half to this beautiful masterpiece! I’ve been wanting to buy these books for a while but kept putting it off due to financially reasons. When I saw it was finally available on audible I had to buy it right away! And I’m not disappointed in doing so. Savvy’s sister is suchhhh a bitchh god I hate her with a passion! The guys for just standing there and listening to that manipulative bitch go on and on spewing lies was messed up. They knew what kind of person she was yet they stood there and listened to what she had to say and looked at Savvy with anger and disappointment not even giving her the chance to explain herself. Girl I would shut down too. They have a lot of groveling and begging to do in the second half of this duet that’s for sure!

Once again, Jescie gives us another banger with awesome characters and a great plot. Such great spice too! But Joe’s performance on this one…my god!! He just continues to impress. The depth of emotional llon he brings to life in Hawke’s character is beautiful and phenomenal. Truly. I recommend this audiobook to everyone!! Especially if you love dark romance!!

This is by far the best Peter Pan retelling I have ever read! I don’t know why someone mentioned that there was too much smut. I think there was just enough smut. The end was so intense though! Loved it!!
