Prepper's Crucible

The omnibus edition of Prepper's Crucible is a compilation of the first three books of the series. It begins when our group of preppers flee Phoenix, Arizona, in route to their ranch in Prescott, in the wake of an EMP that wipes out all power, transportation, and telecommunications networks. Once there, they hunker down until the threat of violence forces them to defend themselves and their neighbors. In a series of battles, culminating with and attack on the town by over 200 gang members, they manage to survive the first month following the EMP.

They have been preppers for four years, and have prepared a retreat where they can hunker down and survive an EMP that cripples the entire country. The group, consisting of three couples, must now reunite in Prescott, Arizona, the site of their bug out location. Two of the couples must use power line easements and old cattle trails to find their way to their ranch in Prescott. They face many challenges during their grueling journey, which they make on ATVs.

In volume two, our preppers work to consolidate their sanctuary at the ranch. They manage to restore power and water, and encounter several deadly situations in the course of defending themselves and their neighbors. The group grows, as they include Cory, a Park Ranger they met during their bug out to the ranch, and his family. Ben, an elderly neighbor, is brought into the fold as well. Don, the group's informal leader, struggles with balancing his protective instincts toward the group, with the need to cede power to each of its members.

In volume three of Prepper's Crucible, our group encounters a situation that is spinning out of control. Gangs are on the attack. Local law enforcement needs help countering the existential threat the gangs pose. Don and Kate come to loggerheads over his participation in the defense of the town. Cory steps up and becomes a leader within the group. An epic battle takes place on the outskirts of town, with Don in command of the defending force. Follow along as our group steps up and takes a stand against evil.

This is a compilation of Prepper's Crucible, Volumes 4-6, and the story continues with our cast of heroes facing even greater challenges. They travel to Phoenix to rescue loved ones and encounter horrors beyond imagination. America is invaded by forces wishing to take advantage of our weakness. A second American revolution takes place when Cory organizes the survivors into a force capable of striking back. In the Epilogue, we see an America forever changed, but regaining its greatness.
