Good post EMP story
Good character development and nothing too unrealistic. Lots of the normal EMP misinformation but it made for an entertaining story.

Nice find
I liked the story line but the change of voice for the female characters make me chuckle a few times. It was one of my first audio books that I began listening to as I travel for business trips. I would like to hear future additions to this series.

Doggone Great Story
I love post apocalyptic stories but you don't have to be a fan to enjoy this book. Great story with likable characters. The story details the struggles of PA life without the vulgarity of so many other stories.

Good till the dogs started getting killed off
Was a good story with good flow. Details were believable and I spent many hours listening through books 1&2.
At the end of 2 and beginning of 3 the dogs started getting killed off in one way or another. I’ll never know how this wraps up because I just can’t stomach the dog killing over and over.
The title made me think that dogs were going to be the heroes of this story, not victims. Very disappointing to abandon so far into the trilogy but it’s too much.

I enjoyed this book set
I truly did enjoy this book set. There's a great deal of suspense and action. Also, I think the challenges that Americans would face in the case of an EMP attack, are close to realistic.

Great characters
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this series. If you prefer cleaner language than most of these types of books, this will fit well. Great characters, interesting perspective.
