What an amazing story!
I loved so many things about this book!
The hilarious moments, the realness, the relatability of finding yourself.

West & Skyler have such a strong connection, and I love the vulnerability they both share with one another.

The narration was PHENOMENAL.
I LOVED the songs in the book! ❤️

Beautiful Story!

I loved the character development that happens with Skylar, I was seriously rooting for her the whole time! Wes is a lovable character and I love how Teddy brought him to life. The songs being included was such a surprise and both songs were beautiful!

Great banter between main characters. I laughed several times listening to this story. So enjoyable

Absolutely great story

I loved the way photosynthesis took place. And how connection between Skylar and Ollie blossomed.

Fancy Face, Cherry, and hit songs…

Here’s the thing, if you watched Days of Our Lives anytime from the 80s on you know the name Fancy Face. So once West settled on that nickname it just made me smile. Cherry the bird was hilarious…and had great character development (🤭). I was pleasantly surprised by 2 songs played. I will be honest, I have listened to other books where this has been done and it was awkward, here it was played perfectly in my opinion. I’m sorry I don’t remember the singers name but she sounded great…very much like Savannah which made it believable that she was the singer in the story. Great casting. Both narrators did an amazing job…as usual!

Elsie does it again. She writes the most fantastic MCs and side characters! Weston Belmont is Skylar Stone’s #1 fan. As fate would have it, after a bear safety lesson, Skylar ends up in Wes’s bunkhouse… the same one that houses sweet Scotty, Rosie’s little mouse. Skylar needs to heal from her traumatic past and toxic agent & parents. West’s kiddos are just precious to Skylar and their relationship is such a sweet one. I ADORED Cherry Stone, Skylar’s African Gray parrot, who just happens to have a filthy, rude mouth. 😂 This is one of Elsie’s best!! West’s mouth 😮‍💨 and the way he loves Skylar had me swooning throughout the whole book!
