Great insight, actionable information

Preface to say I'm a business nerd, not an event pro. A friend has a joint venture in this field and the implications and possibilities piqued my interest. After listening to Amee's (great) podcast and purchasing/reading the book, I gave it another go on audible.

The educational content is good and the chapters are well laid out. The chapter with number-crunching is harder to listen to than read as it takes some time to process, the only area where I would prefer to reference a hard copy.

I caught about 4 or 5 minor mispronunciations, but the pace and delivery were excellent, hence the 5 stars. The story-telling is also relatable and warm, not a bore, and inserts support and encouragement periodically.

tl;dr If you're interested, get the book. I've researched; it's really the only thing of its class out there.

Amee’s Insight is Invaluable

I listened to Amee’s podcast as I was working on my property (that is currently being converted into a venue). Her podcast is packed full of information every venue owner needs. I literally wanted to stop every couple of minutes and write things down.

Since her podcast was so beneficial, I decided to reach out to her about venue coaching. After our initial conversation, I knew that she was the person I had been looking for. She’s an effective and efficient communicator and she meets you right where you are in the process.

I added this book as another tool in prepping to open my venue. I would recommend grabbing all of her resources…book, podcast, and coaching. Listening to this book & her podcast, between coaching sessions, sparked questions and concerns that I would not have thought of otherwise. It also gives me things to work on to make our one-on-one sessions super productive.

My advice…get your hands on as many of Amee’s tools you can and definitely sign up for her one-to-one coaching sessions! She is an invaluable resource to wedding venue owners!

A must read for any new or establishment venue!

Amee breaks down every aspect of owning and operating a venue in easy to understand and follow terms. Her valuable knowledge and delivery makes this a must for anyone seeking or is currently in the events business. I can’t wait to implement her knowledge in our new venue. I’m looking forward to reading her book Fearless Women’s Guide to Staring a Business!
