Enrico & Isla.

Loved learning more about Enrico and what drives him in life, when he meets the gorgeous red head Isla, he learns what it means to truly love someone.

Loved the female narrator, she did a great job and sounded perfect for Isla.
Really did not like the male narrator. Enrico is supposed to be Italian, therefore he should have an Italian accent?
The male narrator sounded too mature for the part, and had no accent at all.

Good continuation of series

Not a fan of narrator JC, he sounded far older that the age of the character.
but I wanted to listen to the book as I have done with the others in the series. Some of the time it dragged on and when she gets taken, the story takes off, but not enough chapters of her captivity.

I am addicted to this series and author! idk how she comes up with so many story line... all independent and worthy of reading as individual books... great job

OBSESSED!!

I have been very obsessed with Marchetti since thorns of Omerta. Now, I can't get enough of this book!!!

So much more fun than I was expecting!!!

Loved getting into Marchetti’s head! After having him be viewed negatively from different angles with Luca’s book and Constantine’s so cool seeing the other side of some conversations and the depth of character

Excellent!

Enrico and Ila story was excellent! I love the way complimented each other. Ila’s sassynes, sarcastic attitude and bravery snared Enricos attention. Liked the fact that as a single dad although head of a mafia section, he was an amazing dad. Erin Mellon and Jack Callahan great dual narration. As always Kudos to Eva Winners. Off to the next book..

The voices of the narrators we great.

The story was strong and kept you interested. The narration was believable. The ending was worth it!

I love her stories and drama, love, and the way she loved her husband. This book was one of the best in this series.

I am doing my best when I listen to this series. I will continue listening to the author's books; she's fantastic 👏

Good story but bad male narrator

I read and listened concurrently. Erin Mallon is wonderful as always but the male narrator is all wrong for this book. The MMC is Italian and there are so many wonderful male narrators who do an Italian accent beautifully. At the very least, this male narrator should learn proper pronunciation. I couldn’t listen to him.
