Empathizing the correct way was refreshing from the narrator’s
I believe this is good for people just getting into adult romance. It is a bit much in the scenes cause you feel like you’re really getting into a plot moment and then BAM he’s inside her. Not a huge fan but it wasn’t terrible.

narration is Key
the MMC is not well suited to the character. he mispronounced so many words, his inflection was terrible, and sounded like an announcer. The female narrator was gold stars all around. Amazing. the story concept was good, the articulation wasn't good. it felt like the author never got past the basic outline of the book. very disappointed.

where do I start
the make narrator was awful, he ruined the book. monotone and he kept pronouncing "capo" wrong. it was annoying.
His capo spoke more like a PA.
The FMC narrator was excellent! She was the best part of the audiobook.
it is a duet narration which was a bonus.
read the book instead.

Female narrator
Milo starts out as a harda$$, a real SOB, it took the woman from Sicily with a sexy accent to bring him back to life. I enjoyed the story.

It was okay it was definitely definitely very non consenty- but not in the like good mutual way… plus savage bidder (the sequel) was WAYYY better. That one actually had a plot. I would say a three is more than fair. It took a lot to get through it was boring as hell… Sooo my suggestion would be don’t get it. Get savage bidder instead (thumbs up)
