The Wrong Book

This was an audible book for me and the narrators did a very good job. I usually enjoy this author‘s books but this one I did not at all. Gemma was so annoying that I wanted Zach to dump her and move on. The things she said and did we’re not OK. Zach did all the work and all the fighting while Gemma just sat back and whined About everything. I had hoped that her character would grow be on the predictable but she never fought for anything except for the one time she showed up at his house at the very end. Zach proved himself over and over and that got to be ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and skip this book.

I loved this book

I loved every second of this book. The MMC was so emotionally mature. I felt a lot during this book.

Gemma + Zack + the Bears = Forever

I did a tandem read with a physical copy and the audiobook and it was such a fun time.

The audiobook performance was fantastic and was done in dual POV.

This story had heartache and heartbreak and so much hope and love! This is about getting another chance in life. Finding your soulmate. Learning to trust and love again.

We all need a Zack in our lives. We all need someone who will fight for us.

This book was amazing!! I binged it and couldn’t get enough. Definitely reading more of Kandi Steiners books!

Touchdown!

I loved this angsty yet steamy storyline. Add in football and I’m hooked. Zach and Gemma have chemistry galore! As well as baggage from the past. This one has all the FEELS and great narration. Absolutely worth the listen!

A bit meh

I listened to the whole book only because Im not a quitter. I have listened to too many sport audiobooks to count and this one doesn’t make my list of memorable listens. Nothing wrong with the story or narrators, just everything was a bit lacking.

I thought the story was very original and it really kept me attention throughout. Another great read/listen by this author.

I loved this book so much. Gemma (FMC) navigates finding love after not only her husband’s affair but him passing away soon after she discovers it.

She is a girl with a plan and her plan was to have fun. However she meets Zach the first day of her plan and it gets derailed from the start.

this book gives you all the fun flirty banter between love birds. We also get to see how much they grow together and learn to trust each other.

Fantasic narration

I really enjoyed this book.
Coming off of a cheating (and now deceased) husband, Gemma has sworn not to give her heart to anyone ever again. But that doesn't mean she can't play the field. So with a grand plan of only giving a guy one night she sets herself up on a dating app. But even the best laid plans can run into a snag...enter Zach Bowen. At first Zach seems like a great choice for a practice date but he's not willing to let Gemma go after only one date. And he is determined to make sure that he gets all of her one night stands.

I really enjoyed The Wrong Game and Gemma and Zach. Both of them are very interesting people and you can see how their pasts have shaped them. I understood why Gemma felt how she often did and I loved hoe much Zach showed he isn't her ex. Zach is such a cute hopeless romantic and I loved that about him so much. He is a bartender and used to play football himself, but he is a huge teddy bear. I really enjoyed this one!
