I've always hated Cal. We fight constantly. Just the sight of him gets my blood boiling.

Problem is, I'm best friends with his sister so it's hard to avoid him. And now we're going to the same college. He's also giving me swimming lessons, but I have no idea why. I swear he's only doing it so he can drown me.

I really hate him. I hate the smirk on his face. I hate his gorgeous blue eyes. His dark tan. His muscular arms. I hate the way my stomach flutters when he touches me in the pool. And most of all? I hate that I'm starting to like him.

Me liking Cal? That was never supposed to happen.

Awesome Book

I really enjoyed reading Kinda Hate You. Finally find another Allie book on audio. I enjoyed the banter between Birdy & Cal. The loathing to romance was exciting & different. Thank you for another great book!!

Female MC ruined this for me.

This book was promising but I couldn’t finish it. The dialogue withBirdie was so freaking annoying every time. I just threw in the towel.

Eh

I liked this book, but damn I didn’t like the fact that through out the book they hated each other but at the end jump right to we love each other. I get that they secretly liked each other throughout the years but it could’ve gave more. There was more potential for this book more things it was missing rather than dragging out the story.

So drawn out

Cute story but so drawn out for god sake thank god it was free otherwise I’d be pissed. It had a good storyline but taking forever to get to the point. Only good thing was the body shaming is awful.

Cute but too long

Cute story line but it was 7 hours too long 😂. It was more for a young adult book. I missed huge chunks of it and the female character didn’t figure out her feelings until the very end! It was cute so I stuck it out until the end and didn’t feel short changed missing a good portion of the book.
Female narrator wasn’t that great either. She fit the unsure young adult story line but also like a robot.
Didn’t use a credit so no harm done.

It was ok

It was slow to start off then continued to be slow. The main actress seemed pretty dense at times contradicting how smart she’s supposed to be in the story. It seemed more like a teen story. Glad it ended with a happy ending in one chapter.

Odd book

This book had its good moments but the main characters were somewhat insufferable. Birdy was just corny to her core and cal was borderline manipulative/controlling. I was also thrown off by how often it was mentioned birdy was “fat” but then she and cal would swear she wasn’t, as well as her brothers only storyline was being friendless because he was fat? The book walked the line of body positivity but never really hit the mark. As for the rest of the story it was just alright, definitely not the worst book i’ve read however it definitely wouldn’t be a reread/relisten.

Too much repetitive thoughts

It started off really good, but the characters kept saying the same things over and over again! How may times does someone have to take up for you to show that they have feelings for you?
