In their place another entity lurks. Caged for eons, the Dark feeds on fear...and light. If unleashed on Earth, it will devour every spark of illumination until mankind is left in darkness absolute. Madness and terror will rob men of their minds. Each will become an extension of the Dark, flesh without a soul. The Oracle and her allies have a desperate plan to retrieve the Sword of Elseerian before it can be used. If they fail, the Dark will be released. And the day will have its last dawn.

Descent unto Dark, book three: The Dark has been unleashed. Impervious to mage or man, its almighty power is matched only by its hunger. Unchecked it will devour the planet...until even the dawn is extinguished. Human and creature alike will become twisted, beasts slaved to the Dark's will. The leash is held by the Harbinger Master, who requires a simple offering to stay the impending slaughter. Obedience is absolute.

great book

the book was Great I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for more from Ben Hale. I will definitely read anything he writes.

Great series

Really like the first three books hopefully the 4th and 5th come out on audiobook soon.

unique turn

it was an unexpected turn and story line from previous books in the story, enjoyable though.

Mage, Mages & 'Magery', truly captivating!

Love it! Can not wait to find out, what is next? though, the 'Alice power' needs to be explained better

Great story

This has been a very good tale about modern-day mages. This was a great valve combining 3 books into 1 audio book well worth the credit.

need a better narrator

narrator has a bit of a lisp, distracting. wonderful story, still worth listening too, enjoy.

enjoyable listen

ignore all the anal retentive english professors that want to grade all these books like an essay from one of their students. i have listened to well over 100 audio books, mostly fantasy & sci fi & you know what? an entertaining story is a good story. so to all you whiners and nay sayers...stop trying to micro destruct every little word and nuance and try to just enjoy a good listen once in awhile. you might have less stress in you life.

I really enjoyed, this Omnibus collection. The series is, incrediblely awesome.....always leaves me wanting so much more.

The story line has appealing character's, riveting descriptions, an the worlds of the Oracle are mind blowing.

Ben Hale has a great writing style, that project dynamic images into your mind.
