Wtf was the ending sure I was like oh wait what a twist but like….. she didn’t know who he was?? Really??

Another Book for the Favorite's Shelf!

If you were ever a teenager with a crush on your teacher, this might give you tingles once more--- but these feelings will be more frightening than those you remember!
This book caught my attention from the start and it's characters kept my attention all the way through. It's beautifully performed by the narrators. If you enjoyed listening/reading to"The Coworker" by McFadden, then this one will fit perfectly into that "brainspace".
The twists are intensely rewarding too.
Already looking forward to whatever book Ms. McFadden gifts us with next!

The twist at the end

First I could not put this book down, because I could not find one redeemable character, and I was determined to uncover the writers piece of the puzzle I felt was missing.But then I could not put the book down because every character,besides the obvious protagonist, was redeemable. and to put the nail in the coffin, so to say,the twist at the end gave me great satisfaction and a complete surprise. A must read if you love a good psychological thriller.

Great listen

Great narration and story. I love it when everything ends well. I love the poetry and the references to Edgar Allen Poe

Classic McFadden

Wow! I love Freida’s books, and no matter how many I read, I still get caught by unexpected, twists and turns. This is no different! I had such a hard time waiting between reads and wondering what would happen.

The twist always come thru again at the end

Loved it all, every page! Never disappointed by Frieda and her storytelling and will always look forward to the next book

Solid plot and character development.

Very nice character development, loved that the story followed different perspectives, it gave the story depth. Very nice plot and twist as you get deeper into the story. Could have done without the epilogue, which I feel wasn’t necessary, it made the plot twists over the top, which was a shame. So I recommend to skip that part. Very well narrated. I will look for more from this author and narrator.

The ending

Would have preferred the wife let her Husband be arrested and not do what she did.
The author is a very good storyteller.

If I was able to figure out the plot after reading 1/4 of the book, then it was not that great. But it was entertaining.

What a great book! It was so unpredictable! The story line was great . I knew it was a winner when I felt annoyed by family members talking to me while I was listening haha!
