Range Detectives

The best part of the story was in the last few chapters, when the final reveal was being pulled together. It was still a very great surprise at the very end.

Enjoyed this book. A nice easy listen. Some fun characters also made the sort more interesting.

Nice, clean story, like the old westerns

I enjoyed the story line, the lack of lots of gore, and the two detectives who stand for good against evil. Unlike another person, I enjoyed the narrator. His ability to change voices is fun, and since this was a story written in the John Wayne genre the voice was perfect. I like this series, and whoever really wrote it should be given credit and write more. People should know the ghost writers so they can be followed.

Love reading a good old western

Love reading a good old western. Two old timers solving detectives in Arizona in the late 1800s.

Easy to keep interested

I was pleased with the storyline and more so with the narration. A good combo kept me interested and made it difficult to turn off. Halfway through the story, I purchased the second book in the series so as to not miss a beat upon finishing.

This is a good book This is a new series to me. I will definitely listen to book two.Stove pipe and Wilbur is range detectives. There funny and smart. This book holds your interest from start to finish. John McLain does an excellent job narration this book. He is the perfect person for this series.
