How much Deni is like her father Smoke. That and the respect she receives from the Sugarloaf Ranch crew.
I liked the budding courtship between Deni and Deputy Sheriff Brice Rodgers. How close the twins of Deni and Loius are.

Great start to western saga
Cannot beat graphic audio. Enjoyed the adventure and storyline. Probably one of the best I’ve listened to so far. Downloaded 2nd and can’t wait to start it tomorrow

The Jensen Brand
This is a good book and I enjoyed the storyline. Denise and Louis comes back and there is a rustling problem. She plays a big part in catching them. Matt and Ace and Chance shows up at the end. Smoke gets injured and they come to lend a hand. This series is in the later years of Smoke's life. I enjoyed the different narrators.
