suspenseful

I was drawn to see what happened next. I was rooting for the girl. I also rooted for the young couple at the farm

Is a good listen for one time

The story was ok and it has ups and downs is entertaining but it will not stay with you forever

Kind of an intense story

Reminded me of Stephen King but w/o the demonic parts that SK always brings in

no organization

i liked the performance of the narrators and the characterization development of the characters.
the author did an excellent job in developing characters but a terrible job in depicting their motivations. it was never clear why the serial killer choose his victims or how he managed to end up where he did. the efforts for the investigation were all over the place and confusing.
the story was six hours long but needed another two or three hours to develop the details, motivations and organization.
the point where the story failed the most was that none of the characters showed any real effort for redemption. Maggie grew some but not enough to enter the realm of hero or even being likeable. the rest of the actors were unsavable. in my opinion this effort was a waste of time.

Nothing all good!!!! I liked it a lot, fun read, I enjoyed it very much much.

Interesting mystery

I liked the twists in the storyline and the character development was very good. The different voices were a plus.

Kept me interested in the character and their motivations

Enjoyed these narrators. A narrator makes or ruins even great stories. These made the listening enjoyable not irritating.

The performances were outstanding and the story was fast paced and really good with a satisfying ending.

Surprisingly good!

I was just looking for something included with Audible that wasn’t too awful, but this actually turned out to be kind of a hidden gem.
Turns out there are two other audiobooks that come before this, so I’m excited to go check those out now.

A very simple story that tries to have some twists but it’s not able to deliver. It’s okay for a free book but I’m pleased I did not pay for it.
