I enjoyed the book and especially the novel superpower that was introduced. I am hoping that DC or Marvel doesn't hear about this book. because they would probably want to borrow the concept and make 10 movies about it.

A Bit On the Nose
The story was a little too on-the-nose for me. A trans man whose super power is sensing and reflecting toxic masculinity (not a totally accurate description, to be fair) lacks subtlety. But the performances were really good and it was diverting to listen to and definitely a different take on LGBTQ+ coming of age.

Addicting in the first acts then lost some momentum
Great overall listen with excellent performances. Tim Russ (Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager) and Stephen Root are in this! Just felt it was wrapped up a bit too quickly for me. The last act could have had a bit more substance.
