Gripping storyline!

This is my first audible book and it kept me interested the whole time! Lots of twists, and the reader was amazing! Must listen!

boring story

story was boring. Don't really relate to her past experience. waited for some time in but nothing. lame ending.

The importance of truth

Interesting exciting kept me guessing all the way through. this was an enjoyable listen. I was not sure until the end exactly what was going on.

Loved the Narrator

I love the narrator of this book, but the story was okay. It felt a bit long at times and that too many stories were going on within the story. I couldn't tell what direction it was going in.

Keeps you wondering

The Narrator was awesome. I enjoyed the story and it flowed beautifully. It truly keeps you wondering what will happen to her next and is this place haunted. The story is good tho ending was very good. I think others that enjoy this style of book will truly like it as well.

way too long and boring

Excellent writing that deserves a better vehicle. This story of the haunted, remote private school has been done far too many times, It could have been reduced to a simple 7-hour book instead of ten hours.

I hope the author finds a better story with strong characters and a meaningful plot line because her prose is definitely worthy of more. Maybe even something based on real-life experiences, always the best place to start

Twisty

I almost stopped reading several times. The whiny main character was so co-dependent and made so many bad choices early on, that it was a little hard to believe anyone could be that stupid. Or that someone would write a story about them. Also, many long and boring descriptions of things that were very much filler and not necessary. Again, the main character’s ruminations were just annoying at many points.

However, I did read the whole thing because I wanted to find out what was going on at the school. And with Anna’s past, although the school was more of the driver. Author did a great job casting doubt and suspicion on several characters, so it wasn’t completely an easy guess as to “who dunnit” until the end.

Most of the loose ends were tied up at the end, but not all. It also would have been good to see if she followed thru with her final resolution and what the outcome of that was as well.

I’d say it was a solid 3 or maybe almost a 4 out of 5. OK read, not amazing. A good break from the fantasy fiction I had been reading.

Monotonous Narration

Such a slow and painful narration. Sadly the worst audiobook I’ve suffered through. The plot was intriguing however.
